ATLANTA (March 4, 2013) – As part of the mall’s multi-phase renovation project, Lenox Square, owned by Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE:SPG), has announced a facelift to its Peachtree Road façade, a stunning new mall entrance, landscape/hardscape improvements, a roundabout for easier traffic flow and complete renovations to the food court and atrium. Now in the first of many announcements to come, the Buckhead shopping destination unveils plans to welcome UGG and Sprinkles Cupcakes to its dynamic list of retailers, along with the expansions and relocations of Nike and Karen Millen. These new offerings – along with exterior and interior renovations such as the mall’s dramatically updated streetside presence and new food court/outdoor patio (now called the Lenox Fashion Café) – will all play a role in enhancing visitors’ overall shopping experience at Lenox Square. Nike, the world’s leading innovator in athletic footwear, apparel equipment and accessories, will open a 23,989 square-foot flagship store near the mall’s main entrance. The relocated and expanded two-story space will be the brand’s first new concept store in the Atlanta area. UGG will open a new concept store located on the Main Mall Level. Known for its must-have sheepskin boots and now showcasing everything from knit boots to sneakers and wedges, UGG will offer numerous color and style variations to its unique footwear. Since opening the world's first cupcake bakery in Beverly Hills, Sprinkles Cupcakes has inspired long lines of devoted Hollywood stars and serious epicureans with its freshly baked treats. Sprinkles Cupcakes are handcrafted from the finest ingredients and topped with Sprinkles’ trademark modern dots, rich chocolate sprinkles from France or seasonal sugar decorations. Known worldwide for its perfectly cut pieces, Karen Millen will offer a wider variety of fashionable pieces for women from on trend leather jackets to investment coats and occasion wear. The expanded 2,118 square-foot boutique located near the main entrance will offer glamorous, distinctive clothing and accessories for the confident, uncompromising woman of today.
